Sea Otter Classic 2010

Before the Sea Otter 2010, the team got a glimpse at the American way of life.

15 days of travelling between San Francisco and L.A.  They spent some good time in Laguna Beach  with the guys of Crank Brother. Did a quick visit at Troy Lee Design, rode with JARED RANDO from team Giant at Sheep Hills and also went riding with HANS RAY.

They pose on Hollywood boulevard before driving up to BIG BEAR for some good riding with DUNCAN RIFFLE from team GIANT.

To finish the trip on a good note, they went to Aptos near Santa Cruz at the mystical dirt jump trail POST OFFICE.

SEA OTTER 2010

This first time at Sea Otter has been placed under the discovery side for Flo and Fabien.

Even though they only had few hours of practice on the trail, they still showed that they belong in the world cup circuit.

DUAL SLALOM :

After qualifying for the dual, Florent PAYET had to race against the powerfull JARED GRAVES who won the two runs.

Fabien COUSINIE also had to face another powerful guy : CHRIS KOVARIK. COUSCOUS lost the first run by couple tenth of seconds but we’ll win the second run. Unfortunately  it won’t be enough to go to the next round. COUSCOUS at least got couple dollars from his winning run.

Florent PAYET ended up 26^th

It is a good beginning for the team after the new title of Fabien as the World Champion of boarder cross obtained at the Snowscoot World Championship in Mont SUTTON,CANADA.

Avant cette Sea Otter 2010 l’équipe à eu droit à son  » Américan dream « .

15 jours de trip entre San Francisco et L.A avec entre autres Laguna Beach, les locaux de Crank Brother, Troy Lee Design, Ride ave JARED RANDO du team GIANT au champs de bosse de SHEEP HILLS, ride avec HANS RAY.

Petit tour à Hollywood histoire de poser sur Hollywood Boulevard avant de prendre la direction de BIG BEAR pour quelques descentes avec DUNCAN RIFFLE du team GIANT.

Pour boucler la boucle, direction Aptos près de Santa Cruz du côté du mythique champs de bosses du POST OFFICE.

SEA OTTER 2010

Cette Sea Otter 2010 fut placé sous le signe de la découverte car ce fut une première pour Flo et Fabien.

Malgré les faibles heures de reconnaissances… Flo a mouillé le maillot sur un plateau digne d’une coupe du monde.

DUAL SLALOM :

Florent PAYET tombe d’entrée de jeu sur le monstrueux JARED GRAVES qui remporte ses deux runs face à FLO.

Fabien COUSINIE tombe aussi sur un gros morceau : CHRIS KOVARIK. COUSCOUS perd son premier run de quelques dixièmes mais gagne le second. Malheureusement cela ne sera pas suffisant sur le cumul des deux manches. COUSCOUS repartira quand même avec les dollars de sa manche gagnée.

DH :

Fabien COUSINIE termine à la 22ème place.

Florent PAYET termine à la 26ème place.

Un bon début de saison pour le team après un titre de Champion du Monde très fraichement obtenu par Fabien à Mont SUTTON au CANADA pour les Championnat du Monde de Snowscoot.
