WORLD CUP#2 / LEOGANG / REPORT

On the weekend the morewood united ride team was in leogang for the 3 round of the world cup series. There was a lot of rain on Friday and Saturday which made the track very muddy, rough and rutted out.

The team looked good in practice and all the riders enjoying the track at leogang. On Saturday it was qualifying and the team put in some good results, Tim qualifying 35^th, mick 32^nd and Fabien 28^th.

The finals came on Sunday and the track was very muddy and rutted from the rain the night before, it was going to be hard to put down a good run. Tim had a lot of bad luck and went off the track twice falling far from the track which lost him a lot of time. He ended up 74^th.

Fabien was on a good run until he went off the track in the pedaling section loosing him some time, but he ended up placing 38^th.

Mick had a good race and finished 17^th, Mick feels like he can still go faster which gives him confidence for the next race.

It was not the best result for the team, but well done to Mick for his best result this year and to Fabien who is still ranked in the top 20 for the overall.
