La Bresse World Cup #6+ VIDEO

The Morewood UnitedRide will keep good memories of world cup #6 in La Bresse, France.

It was the return in Europe for Mick and Tim, and it was Fabien’s come back after going through surgery 3 weeks ago. Our 3 riders all qualified on a dry track. Mick did 27^th, Fabien 36^th and it was tight for Tim who qualified 80^th at 0.038.

The spectators were on fire for the final. The atmosphere was good even though the weather wasn’t that great. The track was now wet and would stay this way for the whole day.

The first riders to start saw a bit of sunshine but for the others there was a constant drizzle on the first part of the track. Tim was the first one to go. He had a good run and finished 46^th.

For Fabien, the challenge was bigger under the drizzle with a broken foot.

Being scared of taking his foot out, Fabien did not take any risk and finished 47^th. He is happy about his come back since lets not forget he had surgery 3 weeks ago.

Even though Mick did some small mistakes, he finished 14^th, his best result of the year. It’s too bad to know that his foot slipped at the start because he could have clearly finished in the top 10 since he’s only at 0.5 secondes.

Mick will be protected for the next race at Val Di Sole because this good result place him 20^th at the overall ranking.

The team stay very motivated for the last race in Italy on the 20^th-21^st of August, but for now they are getting ready for the French Cup in Oz-en-Oisans.

La 6ème Coupe du monde vient de se terminer et le Morewood United Ride gardera de bons souvenirs de cette course sur le sol français.

Ce fut le retour en Europe pour Mick et Tim et la reprise pour Fabien qui s’est fait opérer 3 semaines plus tôt. Nos 3 riders se sont qualifiés sur une piste sèche. Mick fait 27ème, Fabien se qualifie avec une belle 36ème place et Tim a eu très chaud et est le dernier à se qualifier à 0.038.

Le jour de la course le public était en feu et très nombreux. L’ambiance était super pour cette finale de La Bresse malgré le temps maussade. La piste était maintenant trempé et allait le rester pour toute la course.

Les premiers à partir ont eu le droit à quelque éclairssit mais pour les autres, une petite bruine restait constante en début de parcours. Tim fut donc le premier à attaquer. Il eut un bon run et termine 46ème.

Pour Fabien le défi était maintenant plus difficle sous la fine pluie et avec un pied cassé.

Ayant peur de faire de trop gros appuie sur son pied il prend moins de risque et termine 47ème. Fabien est quand même très content de cette reprise devant un public extraordinaire. N’oublions pas qu’il s’est fait opérer il y a de ça 3 semaines.

Malgré quelques petites erreurs du côté de Mick, il fait une très bonne course et termine 14ème. Dommage que Mick a glissé sur la passerelle de départ car il est clair qu’il aurait était facilement dans le top 10 car il n’est qu’a 0.5 seconde.

Mick sera protégé pour la couse de Val Di Sole parce que ce bon résultat le place 20ième au classement général de la Coupe du monde.

Le team reste très motivé pour la dernière coupe du monde en Italie le 20-21 août mais pour l’instant nos 3 riders se préparent pour la coupe de France à Oz-en-Oisans.
