4 PODIUMS THIS WEEK END FOR THE TEAM

The team split last weekend to be able to represent on different events. Fabien and Guillaume were at the traditional Avalanche Cup of Lyon for the Downhill and the 4x. The Downhill on Saturday was for the categories such as juniors, masters and women. Guillaume Cauvin had a great run and made us proud with the best junior time in front of Loic Bruni.

The elite race was on Sunday. Still jet lagged, under the rain and in the mud Fabien did the 2nd time of the downhill. The sun was back in the afternoon for the 4X and Fabien and Guillaume were ready to fight hard. After doing the quarter and semi finals together, Guillaume finished 6th and Fabien took the 2nd place for a total of six consecutive podiums for him at the Avalanche Cup of Lyon.

Mick was on the other side of the Atlantic at Port Angeles for the first round of the american championships, the PRO GRT. With a lot of top world cup riders and on a humid and technical track, Sick Mick finished with an awesome 3rd place behind Steve Smith and Aaron Gwin.

Le team s’était séparé pour mieux représenter ce weekend. Fabien et Guillaume étaient à la traditionnelle Avalanche Cup de Lyon pour la Descente et le 4X. Le samedi c’était la DH pour les catégories cadets, juniors, masters et femmes. Guillaume Cauvin a fait une super performance en gagnant chez les juniors devant Loic Bruni.

Le dimanche se déroulait la DH pour les élites. Tout juste remis du décalage horaire, sous la pluie et dans la boue Fabien fait le 2eme meilleur temps. Le soleil était de retour pour le 4X en après-midi et Fabien et Guillaume se sont bien battus. Après avoir fait les quarts de finale et demi finale ensemble, Guillaume termine 6eme et Fabien prends la 2eme place pour son 6ème podium consécutif à l’avalanche cup de Lyon.

Quant à Mick Hannah, il était de l’autre côté de l’Atlantique à Port Angeles pour la première manche du PRO GRT, le championnat americain. Avec un plateau de riders digne d’une coupe du monde et sur une piste humide et très technique, ce qui n’est pas le genre de piste où Mick est le plus fort, il termine pourtant à une magnifique 3eme place derrière Steve Smith et Aaron Gwin.
